A beautiful, worthwhile walk to do.

Starting from Moudros, head toward the northern exit of the village, in the direction of the airport. Take the road in front of the high school of Moudros, and after 700 meters you will arrive at the starting point of a narrow raised road, leading to the islet.

Arriving on Koukonisi, on your left will be a paddock and to your front you will find the site where archaeological excavations under the instructions of Lemnian archaeologist Christos Bouliotis are taking place on an important prehistoric settlement of the island. The top of this small island is called Koukonas.
